Thanks to a newly developed technology for vaporizing surfaces, it is now possible to rework rubber parts for the application field of sealing material. The same smooth surface is created as with conventional molded rubber parts for classic cars. Rubber parts or seals are vapor-deposited with a special gas under vacuum, thus smoothing the surface. Before smoothing, the components are still slightly rough, as can be seen in the picture.
